Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a discipline that deals with the application of the concepts of physics and science for designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment. The programme also deals with hydraulics, mechanics, the strength of materials and refrigeration. The purpose of offering a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course is to provide education and training to students who can work as professionals in industries and production companies in the future. Also, they will be trained in manufacturing processes, manufacturing systems, systems engineering, IT, Networks and basic shop floor communications. The training will help the student to gain hands-on experience in many spheres of technology related to smart manufacturing.
